John,
I have one question, consider the below scenario
1) I have turn off the WFR
2)I am updating some records which will meet the condition to trigger the WFR.(but it won’t trigger as it inactive)
3) Now I am going to turn on the WFR, will it trigger the WFR on the records which i had updated when the WFR is turned off?

@Vrajesh
The short answer is no. Workflow rules are only triggered on record save when the workflow rule is active.
The situation you’re describing above is often used to avoid triggering workflow rules when loading data through the data loader.
Great Q. Cheers,
John

Hi John,
Thank you for this very useful study guide. The help content in SFDC is good at explaining each topic in great detail but it’s hard to figure out from there how the different parts work together. Your guide gives a much more simple and comprehensive view of the whole CRM system.
